This thread is dying like the fear of covid19 is dying. We will be back to “normal” in July.

Hell in my county in central California, we did "shutdown" minimized things, and been opening up for a while now. That was supposed to be the "plan" all along. Hopefully in this extreme heat my county lives in will make it harder to spread.

My Hispanic neighbors had a party with a band and at least 20-30 people over a month ago. I think it's a cultural thing. Not seeing their friends and family is much harder than it is for those of us who would prefer not to see people in general.

yep, Hispanic families are usually very very close, hell, im 43 and my mom still comes over and cooks for me a few times a week. Its just how it is! If i have a girl or not, moms will still cook for EVERYONE. I have my niece 4-5 times a week while my sister is at work. We have family dinner 1-3 times a week usually 1-2 though. On folks days off, we usually always do something together still. Hell, my dad still goes to my moms for dinner and they have been divorced for 30 years.

Sorry to inform you but the Holiday\weekend reference was due to the tendency to be lower counts on the weekends and had absolutely nothing to do with the Ozarks, Professor. |

He's talking out of his ass and has no idea what we are talking about. You were right about your first post and this post. Even for a weekend the totals today are very, very low and yes, we are far from heading to what that ridiculous model stated.
