Today’s shotguns can come with collapsible stocks and pistol grips to help overall control of them. Switching shoulders is not a big deal if you practice it even a little bit. Taking a corner and using the pie method should be used no matter what type of gun you prefer. You never get close enough to a corner to allow someone to reach around and push your gun or barrel wide to allow them to gain the advantage on you.
That being said everyone needs to use what they are most comfortable with and practice using it. To rule a gun out because they are too long or you have to switch shoulders is a silly way to eliminate great guns from the options that are out there. I have a pistol beside my bed along with an AR chambered in 300BLK with subsonic rounds so they don’t over penetrate. |

I had to close about twenty Chrome tabs because I was about to order all the wiz-bang gadgets to build a pistol. I can't afford that rabbit hole and I'm not sure I want to build something so cheap that it feels shoddy.

the only thing that costs more is the brace vs a stock, and those can be had with a lower build kit super cheap at palmetto state armory. like, stupid cheap. $129 total with the lower parts kit and the brace shown in my picture. |

$280 for a Springfield XD 9mm. That's a pretty damned good deal. Normally these go for around $400 or more.

Just took delivery of my "new" EDC pistol - a Sig P365 (pocket pistol) - unbelievable...small as all get out and holds 10 in the mag (9mm) and 1 in the tube...

I picked up a "new" special order Mossberg 500 Tactical today from my local dealer and when I got it home realized there is no limiting plug. These by law have to come from the factory with one don't they? Does this mean this gun is used?
