There has been well crafted shell around the guy for 15 years. Seems like it's gone now. |

I think Tiger's 'Wood' may have just played him out of ecilpsing The Golden Bear's Major Tournement Record. PhilFree |

If nothing else in my golf career I wanted a City Championship. Guess I wasn't good enough. I made last group the year before this debacle but I didn't get it done. David Kriksey(sp) won. I pro-gress! Today I played in a free tourney for AMXP/Ameriprise. I played wiath my sister, 55 year old cus and then much younger fenmale cus. Me and basicaly three none golfers. It was a tempest on the course! Those damn girls and my old cus made a few putts and we shot -4 in scramble. I'm really proud of them.... PhilFree |

Hank Haney has quit as Tiger's swing coach. Hamas was right on cue. Maybe he should become a golf analyst. Probably too much cussing for the golf channel.

And this is one of those "forced to resign" situations if I've ever seen one. Tiger only hired Haney because he worked with O'Meara and Tiger was sans coach after canning Harmon. There are a lot of guys out there who could help Tiger (first by making his swing more upright so he'll age better), but he is going to have to humble himself and be willing to accept coaching rather than just a yes-man, which is what Haney was. |

Best golf story I got....
When I was in highschool this underclassman ask me a question. His question was about his chosen career path. He told me that he loved baseball but that he also loved golf. He asked me if he should focus on basball or should he focus on golf? I told him that it's up to him but if you go bb and don't make it what are your choices? If you go golf and don't make it there are a ton of jobs. ....Well.......He became a golf pro at a club and now I hear he's buying golf courses.....plural.... Shit....I feel like a daddy and I want to cry. PhilFree |

So, I'm dealing with some major Sergio-itis, and it's driving me nuts. I just can't get comfortable over the ball, and I'm re-gripping and shuffling my feet like crazy. It's infuriating, and I don't know how to beat it. It's also having negative effects on my game. Any suggestions?
