Would we have considered him if the Steelers had taken Moore? Possibly... But I personally think the injury concerns, character concerns, and IQ concerns may have had him on Veach's do not draft list. I liked Pickens as a prospect a lot... I just don't think he was a possibility for the Chiefs.

I think Vertch preferred Skyy, but was fine with that grouping that was available. With Skyy's size, I think he thought we would most likely get him, but if we didn't he was fine with the others. I agree, getting Kinnard in the 5th was a steal as well.
