The first movie was a straight up revenge flick (maximum Baba Jaga). The second one was a John Wick who Desires To Escape The System and this one is similar to #2 except they obviously wanted to explore the mythology more deeply.

I prefer full-on Baba Jaga John Wick which is my expectation for #4. That's the John Wick I met in #1 so he's the one that makes the most sense to me (personally).

I think they've done a wonderful job of setting up #4. I'm just sorry I have to wait for another one.
