I blame my grandpa, he played every string instrument and a great vocalist, his favorite....Prince Albert Hunt out of Houston. Who was shot and killed by a jealous husband leaving a gig.
He had an incredible record collection of old blues, jazz and country. We'd sit listening to cats like King Oliver, Leroy Carr, The Skillet Lickers, Uncle Dave Macon and on and on with him telling me about who they were. That stuck with me all my life,
