This virus is deadly because no country in the world is prepared for tens of thousands of infected people, let alone millions, who would require a hospital bed and a ventilator in order to survive this virus.

Less exposure will also draw it out longer. All it does is help prevent a run on the hospitals. The best way to get rid of this quick is to let it run its course and go about life as usual. Obviously that would be more deaths and such which we don't want so we have to balance between the two.
We also have to accept the fact that this didn't just start a few weeks ago. This has been in the country for months now. This has to be taken seriously but there is a lot of undue hysteria being generated as well.
