He’s allowing his friends to put the message out. He doesn’t want to leave. He just wants them to fix his lame duck contract to give him insurance. As it stands, they could basically make a clean break after next season. And anyone who thinks that GB’s FO is going to trade the MVP or allow him to retire rather than give him a little more insurance is insane.
