For reference, Pat had some offensive talent around him on the 2015 and 2016 Texas Tech football rosters. There’s about dozen NFL players who played meaningful snaps with him, many of which are still in the league but no other stars. Pat obviously made everyone better and is one reason some of these guys got shots at the NFL, but there was definitely a good supporting cast around him on that side of the ball. While us Red Raiders all love(d) Kliff Kingsbury, it’s easy to understand our frustration that he couldn’t win more games with the talent below.
