Draft picks like this are why the Chiefs are able to keep constantly turning over the DB room without losing a ton of production. it's why we can re-sign McDuffie after 2024 and let Justin Reid walk. Between Cook, Conner and now Hicks, we don't need to be paying money to more than one DB at a time.

And that's a BIG luxury to have in today's NFL.

Between Veach and Spags, I have absolutely no doubt that we cant' maintain this mindset and keep an inexpensive secondary. Great point!
