I've seen this odd dynamic where other Florida residents laugh at California for having such high property taxes and other taxes, general cost of living, insane traffic issues, and other stuff that's causing people to leave the state.... and then brag about how many people are flocking to Florida.
The cause and effect seems completely lost on them.
