There’s some very clear DS9 influence to this season of Picard that I hope they won’t shy away from going forward (whether it is on this series or on others).
And SNW was a very good show (for the most part) and really shouldn’t be roped in with the disaster that is Discovery. Their season finale was and is the best thing Trek had done since Enterprise.
