If you've still got an Athletic sub, check out the stuff today from Eno Sarris and Alec Lewis re: the Royals pitchers and why their fastballs are not effective.

Basically, the Royals are still trying to pound the zone DOWN with fastballs, and it is making them suck more than they should.
