Anyone found a deal on a computer monitor for this Christmas? Looking to spend <$250

It's been forever since I shopped for a computer monitor. This will be a gift.

Don't think the curved ones interest us.

It's not for me, but will be used for programming, general web, and many games.

I know the graphics card does the heavy lifting. Don't figure I can just walk into SAMs or BestBuy and know the good from the bad.
