Both are amazing and can be huge time sinks.
MGS:V has a very bizarre story (it's a Japanese game so I guess that's to be expected) but the gameplay doesn't get better than that. It's an incredible game.
Black Flag is super fun for a while but unless you're an OCD completionist, it gets pretty stale.
