So, I think we can agree that Houston is the NFL's current king of ****ing up a good thing.

But... the Rams aren't far behind.

They traded for Peters, Fowler, and Cooks. All of them are gone. They gave big money to Gurley and Goff. Gurley got CUT (not even traded) and Goff was mediocre in the first year of his ridiculous extension. They traded out the ass and PAID for Jalen Ramsey, but they don't seem to realize that a shutdown corner does not a secondary make. They're always in need of draft picks and keep making deals that deny them what they need. Meanwhile, for all the players they trade for, they don't seem to care about keeping them around and building a decent nucleus of stars. They pay the wrong players, get rid of the productive ones, and keep kicking the can down the road. They don't have a first round pick in 2020 OR 2021, either.

Sean McVay is the boy wonder head coach, right? Well, does he know how to pick up the phone, call his GM, and ask him WTF he's doing? Who knows... maybe he's a part of this ****ing mess. In any case, if they don't get a clue, I don't care if McVay really IS all that he's cracked up to be-- he's going to fail miserably and eventually wind up getting fired.

The Rams remind me a bit of the Broncos. They're a giant ****ing mess, but for them the real bad news is they don't realize it yet.
