I doubt Mahomes has any surgery.
They'll do another MRI as a kind of preventative measure. It's an expensive check under the hood. As long as they don't see anything new, or that has gotten worse, no one is going to suggest that they go into Pat's knee with a sharp object. If he came out of that worse than how he went in . . .
