It IS a big deal on Twitter atm. Sometimes these things blow over in 24 hours, sometimes not, we'll just have to see.
As a teacher, I tell my kids that it shouldn't matter, but what they post on social media absolutely still does matter and the decisions they make now (some of them are 13) can impact their future.
The wild thing is that if you talk to any adult, they all are thankful social media wasn't around during their teenage years, but some don't give that understanding to kids today.
