This is blatant homersim here. KC's defense is not near the D the NE has right now.
The NE secondary appears better across the board. Hard to argue any of Ward, Breeland, Fuller or Thornhill being better than any of their starters at this point. HB over coke dealer might be the only spot in the secondary KC is better. Their LBs are definitely better. I would take KC's D line over NE but we haven't seen all that much in the way of sacks/pressures thus far.
