What the hell are you talking about? Gladiators were criminals who fought to the death sometimes against wild animals like lions and tigers. Football players dont do anything even close to that. Boxing/UFC is more like gladiators than football is but even that is a stretch.

Acting like Andrew Luck is a gladiator is ridiculous. He plays a violent sport sure but he is no gladiator. He's a QB who didnt want to go through rehab so he retired.
