The universe is the entire mish-mash of space. When we travel the universe, we can travel from galaxy to galaxy. And in doing so, we will more than likely find that laws of physics which apply on an Earth class planet in the Milky Way may not work on a similar class planet in a galaxy with systems that sport binary suns or moons.
