WOW!! That was fast.

Jackson tenure with the Rams lasted several more years though. He may have caught Jackson as the franchise's all time rushing leader had he stayed healthy. Gurley is still young but you get the feel you almost have to limit his snaps. Jackson was a bell cow for many years in STL.

Waste of signing.

At 1 year 5 mil not a huge risk. I am surprised that the falcons took him at that considering the cap. They only have 2 mil available and that's not counting Fowler or gurley.

That division is gonna be a lot tougher for Brady than he had it in NE.

Gurley is a steal for what the Falcons paid, plus it shows that Gurley is willing to bet on himself. Both Gurley and the backup RB Malcolm Brown had less than 4 YPC in 2019, the previous year they both had closer to 5 YPC, plus rookie sensation Darrell Henderson even had a poor YPC, maybe the horrible offensive line was the problem and not Gurley. Gurley might have given the Falcons a team friendly deal that he wouldn’t have given other teams due to his connection to the state of Georgia.

That’s the way it looks to me.
