Is this our starting D heading into the draft?
DE Clark
DT Jones DT Nnadi DE Speaks OLB O'Daniel MLB Ragland OLB Hitchens S Mathieu S Lucas CB Breeland CB Ward (NB) Fuller :dunno: |
Looks better than last year's defense.
|
I worry about Ward and all 3 LBs

I'll wager Hitchens will perform better in 4-3.

Ward was a little hard on the Beaver

<br /> Very limited sample size. Sure, he got better, but that was just over a few games. He WILL be the guy that gets picked on all year. |
We can get a CB starter in round 2 this year.
|
I'd like to see a lot less of Ragland this year
|
Clark - Jones - Nnadi - Ogbah/Okafor
I think Speaks will flex between DT/DE |
I think Clark and Jones are going to see the lions share of D-line snaps and just call the rest a rotation because they are all going to be rotated through there to keep everyone fresh
|
There's a couple of others that will compete for the LB spots. None are world-beaters but competition helps and having a 4 man D-line with their potential in front to keep them clean will help. Watts and Sorenson for competition at S. See a need for a CB, LB and a TE and then depth, depth, depth.

Unless I'm missing something, kid looks real good. Would've sealed the AFCCG with that INT, too. But Ford. No team has zero question marks. If Ward is ours, well, I'm alright with that. I'd still draft a CB in round 2. |
