Sub Zero and Scorpion are going to have a backstory in this one

Not sure what you expected from a Mortal Kombat movie, but it looks amazing to me. :)

This pilot turned into MK: Legacy... which ended up as a decent watch.

I always loved Mortal Kombat. Back in the 90s/2000s it was rivaled a bit by Street Fighter and Tekken but over the last 15 years or so I feel like MK just separated from the pack.

It's pretty nonsensical. They've got a washed up action movie star, a four armed dragon-man, a thunder god, sorcerers, and then there's a cop. Not even a special cop, just a literal cop lol

I'm not sure I like the idea of this Cole Young dude assuming he's an original character.

They'd better do right by my boy Liu Kang, that's all I'll say.

Now this one actually looks pretty damn cool.

Sold I'm in!

Cole Young, some are saying that he's Sub Zero's successor from the Lin Kuei clan, my money is on that he's reincarnation of Fujin

If you're the type of person who enjoys movies based on old video games, I would think this trailer looks about perfect.

Video game movies almost always suck, but idc. I'm in. I'm no movie snob, give me 'splosions, senseless violence and cool CGI and i'm entertained.

I hope Reptile is in this movie.

I think he’s supposed to be.
