What else did he do wrong?

Lots of people to blame today that did things they don't coach...

Do you think we should fire Reid?

A 52 yard FG is not a "very makeable" range... especially if you have the opportunity to get in for a closer FG.

Well, he should be. He probably felt this way a LOT at Texas Tech when he threw for over 400 and still lost because of a suck defense and special teams.

Taking the sack there was actually an incredibly high football IQ play that took away the Titans' final timeout (and still left the team in comfortable FG position). One of the rare times throwing the ball away is the wrong thing to do and he realized it. The guy is maybe the most impressive football player I've ever watched...too bad he's not getting much help.

We set another record tho!!

He's not throwing anybody under the bus.

Yes he was. I’ve watched it a dozen times, he’s in a full sprint ad the ball is snapped.

Yeah, losing that seven yards of field position made the field goal much easier. Especially after Butker had missed a PAT earlier. Sorry. The Tits didn't need all those time outs. They won anyway after the botched attempt.

Agree it was the right decision by Mahomes, but the play call was bad.

Mahomes was not going to be running today, so the option should not have been pass or Mahomes having to run it.

Not at all. Just saying some peeps need to step up. That's way different than saying we need "new guys."

This. Very smart play by mahomes. Even though it would have given us a better shot at a first down, also very smart not to risk his body trying to leg it out. Blame the playcall or the special teams buffoonery. But mahomes did the right thing there.
