Stupid Bear Tourist Tricks

This is why you don't go near teenage girls, bears. Keep your distance from them if you're in their territory. Teenage girls don't care that you're just on vacation with your cubs.

Get on it, BurtVausch.

Someone needs to take a look at her for a spot on their OL. That tiny girl put one hell of a forearm shiver on an opponent that outweighed her by 150lbs.

Gotta love her bravery, but it could've taken her head off with one swipe

She was lucky the bear was pre-occupied with the dog for sure. But she was fast as hell, no hesitation. That goes a long way. Bear didn't even see it coming, and was on poor footing on a concrete wall.

Now, if the bear was on the ground...this story would have ended way differently...

MTG#10 06-01-2021 06:44 PM

She literally like pushed that bear off like that wall literally.

Spott 06-01-2021 07:16 PM

She bearly made it out alive.

Ha!! Mad TV was my preferred watch over SNL back in those days.

That one little dog was talking a big game until the bear actually picked it up (right before the woman pushes the bear). Then watch the dog take off toward the house and abandon his countrymen to their fate.

It's actually kind of fun to isolate out each dog's role.

Little Brown Dog #1 - First on the scene and totally useless. Runs past the mama bear to futilely chase a cub, then just wanders around and is finally picked up and carried to safety. Grade: F

Little Brown Dog #2 - Good platoon action. Initially chases a cub to split the bear forces, then runs back and organizes an offensive on the left flank of the girl when she attacks. LBD#2 then fires the last barking salvo before joining in the retreat. Grade: A

Big Black Dog - Ill-advised frontal assault resulted in taking a bear paw directly to the ol' sniffer. Immediately gets routed and flees, but returns on the right flank to the rear of the girl when reinforcements arrive. However, stays far out of the action on his counterattack. Grade: C-

Little Gray Dog - Flies right into the conflict. That was brave, but stupid. Two seconds from becoming an appetizer when the girl saved the day. Then fled without looking back, never to return. Grade: D-

Neighbor Dog - Positioning for a devastating surprise attack from the rear, but arrives on the battlefield too late and without urgency. Grade: D
