Bengals have gone back and forth on the QBs Burrow had an amazing year Tua has had a great three years at Alabama. Tough Decision. A lot of people will say it’s a dumb pick but the bengals are confident in the decision and time will tell whether it is a poor decision or good one.

Yeah I thought it would be a shock no disrespect to Burrow he’s amazing, but I’ve always believed a one year wonder is a risk. They don’t have film on you yet they don’t have your tendencies yet. A player that they have film on and they still can’t figure out is dangerous. Much like Mahomes Tua is intelligent and can adjust quickly to what the D gives him. Is it a risk oh hell yeah that’s why I asked friends opinions and family. But when it boiled down to it when he’s healthy is he the best player and QB in this draft my answer he is. Remember 84 tds to 11 ints for his career.

As of 12:27am, the 12 hours for Chargem and the Giants will pass, and Hoover and the Dolphins will be on the board. Chargem will remain on the board for an at large, ASAP pick, but the order will continue.

I’m making an executive decision until SNR returns: if Chargem doesn’t make their pick before we get to pick 10, a pick will be made for them and we’ll figure out what to do next.

Now we would have been thrilled with Tua, but are ecstatic to land Burrow at five. I understand the upside of an exciting player like Tua but it’s easy to see Burrow firing darts in Miami for years to come. Miami is a great place from him to land.

Carr, Mariota or whatever shit bag QB is under center will have to score points, so they take the best weapon available.

Me, the Chiefs Kingdom needs a (Patrick) Queen (LB, LSU).

I think you pick a CB here since you have your pick of all but they top guy. Then you are in great position to address of the offensive line at the end of the round.

BUT...

I'd be tempted to take Wirfs, but then Fisher would have to kick inside and I doubt that would ever happen.

Hypothetically going by the way this board is falling?

I sprint to the podium and select Tristan Wirfs. He is easily a top 10 talent. Kick him inside at Guard for 2020 and he becomes your swing Tackle if Schwartz or Fisher go down.
In 2021 you can cut Fisher and save over $11 million in cap, and Wirfs takes over a LT for 10+ years.

I think the only issue there is that Wirfs has never played the position. But he's athletic as hell so it's probably worth a try.

I’d just take Queen and be happy that we finally have the 3 down LB that we’ve been missing since DJ left.

Wirfs would be intriguing though.

My hangup with Queen is his sample size, and the fact he was surrounded by elite talent at LSU. If Divinity Jr. had not got hurt, we would not have heard of Queen. No doubt he is a savvy, intelligent, player with plus athleticism that suits the NFL game well - but I think he is a reach at #14 given other likely available talent.
