Jim Gregory played QB at nearby Corcoran HS, one of his coachs got a job back in Louisiana at Grambling one of those HBCU schools, well Gregory was white.

Gregory ended up playing QB at Grambling, he was the first white QB in the SWAC. How big a deal was this? Remember the movie "White Tiger" starring Bruce Jenner?
