Do you Believe in Bigfoot ?

I gotta admit that this is a topic that's intrigued me for many years. There are now just so many videos relating to this that I find myself spending countless hours watching usually late at night when I'm bored but are so fascinating.

I'm wondering what your opinions are on if they exist or not. This guy has lots of great hunting stories to tell and several Sasquatch encounters if you like this type of thing.

Here you go.

I think there are still places on earth where the human density (people per square mile) is low enough for them to exist but the skeptic in me says with today's technology some real undeniable immutable evidence should have found by now.

They discover how many new species of mammal, insect, fish, etc from every corner (or depth) each year? It may seem improbable, but I'd say not impossible.

Short answer- Yes. There has to be a reason cultures from around the globe, and from different eras, believe in them.

Alien life is almost certainly out there somewhere. It’s almost impossible to put into perspective how big the universe is. With a virtually unlimited amount of space out there, there MUST be some sort of alien life somewhere.

Buehler445 08-03-2019 10:00 PM

Rogans comments on this from when he looked into it while doing Joe Rogan questions everything are enough for me.

I’m out. At least in the Pacific Northwest. Other places on the planet, I’m game. But not the Pacific Northwest.

It is very possible that people who don't believe in Bigfoot have an irrational fear of Bigfoot.

This, I believe, can be traced to early childhood stompings.

Sasquatch started QAnon to expose the deep state. It subscribes to the Austrian school of economics and posts pictures of undercooked food lined up on rectangular plates to dupe people who think Olive Garden is fine dining that it has artistic plating skills.

The estimated population is between 2000-6000 in North America. That doesn't even qualify for the endangered species list.

Presumably many, many light years away on another planet in another galaxy. Not walking around Oregon but mysteriously hiding all evidence of their existence, including the destruction or concealment of their physical remains when they die.

Absolutely one of the craziest nights I've ever had. Shit started little before midnight in a cow pasture about a 1000 yards away from the woods and didn't stop until the sky turned that hazy blue just before the sun comes up... It pushed the cattle to the other side of the property.
Eventually made it to the other side of the pond from where we were camping at,and whatever it was? ran off the property owners two very large malamute huskies before the night was over.. I didn't really get spooked until the dogs went down into the pond to check out this thing.. I heard the dogs yelp a couple times and they both booked for the property owners house.. The next day, he even comented on how strange it was to find both dogs sitting inside the screened porch that morning

WE HAVE A BIG SPOTTING!

Frazod 08-04-2019 11:37 AM

My biggest problem with the whole bigfoot thing is at this point, somebody would have captured compelling video evidence (everybody has a ****ing cameraphone now), or DNA, or actually shot one and produced a body. We're not talking about ghosts or aliens with advanced technology - just giant ape things. They're going to show up on video - they're going to leave trace evidence behind - and a bullet that can take down a grizzly should kill one. Unless there is a concerted effort underway to keep the existence of these things dismissed as fake or fantasy, I just have trouble believing it. Even though I'd like to believe it.

I think that Finding Bigfoot show set serious research back by decades. I think I watched perhaps four episodes before giving up on it. What a bunch of assclowns. They make Zak Bagans look like Jacques Cousteau.

That being said, if I'm out in the woods, I'll definitely be armed with a large caliber weapon.

Ask yourself if you think Earth is the only planet that exists in the entire universe that has the properties that make life possible.

Theres a difference between thinking that something doesn't exist on the planet you inhabit and thinking something exists in another ****ing galaxy because it's just illogical to believe that Earth is unique.

Now do I believe that aliens have visited Earth? No.

Megatron96 08-04-2019 06:55 PM

I would like to believe in Bigfoot.

I have a problem concerning evidence, though. If Bigfoot exists, why has there never been any scat recovered?

I spend a lot of time outdoors, hunting, fishing, scouting for hunting and fishing, hiking, etc. For the last 17 years I've spent an average of 50-70 days/nights a year up on the Mogollon Rim here in AZ, as well as another 8-12 days in southwest WY, 7-8 days in MT, and 6-7 days in central CO. Nearly all of it primitive camping miles from the nearest paved road, essentially without seeing another human for days. And there have been sightings of the "Mogollon Monster" since the 1940s. But I've never in all those days come across any Bigfoot crap.

And as a lifelong hunter, I can pretty easily identify nearly all of the scat I come across, including deer, elk, black bear, mountain lion, porcupine, raccoon, wolf, coyote, wild horses, etc. and so on. And in all this time I've never come across any large sized unknown scat. Not in OK where I grew up, not in MO where I spent nearly 15 years hunting and fishing. Not in KS, TX, NM, CO, CA, WY, or MT. We're talking about a few thousand days and nights in the woods and on mountains basically where tens of thousands of sightings have been recorded.

So what are they doing with it? Maybe they're burying it like a cat, but then it would be a sizeable pile of dirt if they're 500-800 lbs. And wild animals just crap anywhere, usually right on the trail/game trail. Mountain lions and other cats will cover their feces, but they don't make any real effort to go off and hide their dumps.

So why haven't I, or anyone else, found any Bigfoot excrement?

vailpass 08-04-2019 07:02 PM
