Let's talk about the Chargers
Chiefs open as 3 point favorites.
Game is in Mexico City, which is lovely! Gotta win this one. Discuss. |
Bosa and Ingram gonna eat vs Cam
|
Better not lose.

They'll be playing 7,382 feet up in the air. What there is of it.
Will Fish have a chance to be back in this one? |
I have faith in Mahomes and some of the offensive players, the rest of the team not so much...
|
Andy dominates the division. No reason that won't continue vs these scrubs. Especially with a pissed off team.

I will stick by my prediction... Chargers by 14
|
Pre-season AFCW/SB champs 20 years running. Scrubs, broke dicks and lead by Phyllis who needs to take lessons from Linda Lovelace. I'm not worried about that bot team...unless the refs choose to get involved.

If I was a self crowned sb team this year and just got my ass kicked by the Tits with a Journeyman QB, I would worry about every team. |

Erving got put on his ass by a 203 pound CB. Imagine what Bosa and Ingram will do

Shit I don't take any team for granted |
Line up bosa and ingram on the right vs Erving and Wis.. dear god.

Is it a foregone conclusion that Fisher isn't playing?
|
Reid will blow this as well and somebody will get hurt on the shitty field.

I know you had a toilet wine infused weekend after Phyllis did his usual choke job so I'll chuck your unwarranted smugness up to that, inmate. |
Gordon and Ekeler will shred the Chiefs. The less Phyllis throws, the better for the Chargers. Fisher and LDT need to play, otherwise Mahomes will be on the ground a lot. Not an ideal matchup for the Chiefs.

Not really a bunch of rookies in their first game , You had 1 good qtr. We shut you out for 3. You won the game, you are the better team this year but you have a very low IQ team it appears. But this isn't about the Raiders, I already stated here I don't expect a playoff spot and if we get lucky we will go 9-7 or 8-8 which I would gladly take over 4-12 with a shit load of picks and plenty of money to spend on the way to Vegas. But you guys have been pounding your little bird chests for 1.5 seasons now and still do the same thing you have been doing since 1969....Choking |

Oh, boy, your most recent SB occurred 14 years after the Chiefs' ancient title. That definitely makes up for being the worst franchise in the league currently. |
Fisher needs to play this one. I’ve seen enough of Erving for the rest of my life.
|
Chargers 27
Chiefs 24 |
this is the game where kelce gets hammered the night before and reels in 12 catches for a buck fifty and three touches, staggering with 4.9 speed to each first down
can't wait |
man not gonna lie....i'm now scared of this game
ekeler has SIXTY catches this year and this team is playing for their season fuque mei |

If there's ever a time to get Clark going, it's this game. |
San Diego is currently in Colorado Springs practicing all week in hopes they'll be acclimated to the altitude (7000+ elevation in Mexico City).
The chiefs have struggled mightily against all downhill power gap running teams (Patricia, Indy, Tennessee) They haven't struggled at all against zone blocking teams (denver, green bay, minnesota). San Diego is a zone blocking team. Okung probably isn't playing and San Diego just gave up 5 sacks & about 20 pressures to the 'Fade Take that for what it's worth. |
If it makes you guys feel better. Clark has been playing with a penched nerve since August. Its really slowed him down. So hes gonna come on hot to finish the year. Bank 21 mil a year on it!!!
As for the Chargers. We lost to HOU, IND, and the Tanehill Titans. This is anybody's game. We really need Fisher. |
The altitude is a bigger concern than the Chargers. Running around at 7,000 ft. is going to be very rough on the OL and the DL. Long drives might be impossible late in the game, without some referee interference.
If we are smart, we'll run the ball about 50% of the time in the first half; run blocking is just easier than pass blocking, and throw relatively short passes for the first 30 minutes. However, I would have Tyreek run around a lot, as he's probably in the best cardiovascular shape of anyone on the team. Wear out his CBs/safeties to set them up for the 2nd half. And we have too many speed guys plus Kelce for them to really cover. But we do have to be more efficient scoring TDs. I would expect our offense to look pretty similar to the Chiefs' first TD drive yesterday. On defense, obviously we need to stop their backs early, because it's probably going to be a lot harder to do in the 2nd half, once our DL/LBs are half-gassed from the altitude. Put them in 3rd-long, and get after Rivers early and often. He's not much more mobile than Flacco, so this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Add in the fact that Rivers tends to implode in big games, so this really shouldn't be that tough a game for us. Another thing to remember is that the older you are, the tougher it is to perform at high altitude. Rivers is going to probably begin to fade about middle 3rd Q. Overall, I think we're going to see some sloppy football, simply because of the altitude. By the 4th quarter, I'd bet the OL/DL for each team are going to be in agony. Probably the LBs as well. We're probably going to see some players trip over grass, probably a lot of holding by everyone, etc. |
Nothing like a few Riversceptions to get this Super Bowl train back on the tracks.
|
I just hope they have their shit together this year as far as the field goes, in that dump. The last thing I want to see, is some shoddy sod job and Mahomes getting hurt because of it.
|
Given the current state of our o-line, I'm joining the chorus of those people who are wondering why Wally doesn't max-protect more often and release the fast guys on a deep crosser and a double-move go route.
Give Mahomes time to aim the cannon (while correcting for trajectory, elevation, and windage) then hit the 70-yarder a few times a quarter. I would also like Bieniemy to carry a football around all week 24/7 until he figures out how to teach the damn skill players the proper way to hold a football. FAX |

This team is capable of beating anyone. And of being beaten by anyone. This is what parity looks like for 7/8ths of the league.

The Chargers suck.
That shall be the end of my discussion. Thanks for attending, and drive safe. |

Well to steal one out of BB’s book... we’re onto Los Angeles.
I would really love to see KC come out and stomp a mud hole in their asses. They’re a pretty talented bunch in spots but really, coming off of that loss Sunday, the Chiefs need to make a statement. |

My gut says KC will roll in this one pretty good and this place will be right back to cloud nine... no consistency.
The reality is the Chiefs are still one of about 6 or so teams with a real shot at the SB. If they want to be the the team, they’ve gotta start playing their best ball here down the stretch. |
Listen Chiefs fans, pull the goddamn sand out of your vaginas. Stop moping around the forum with your "woe is me" crap.
This is a playoff caliber football team that is STILL in the top echelon of the NFL. All it takes is a streak to get hot. That streak starts in Mehico vs the Chargers. Gordon and Ekeler are NOT going to run all over the Chiefs. Bosa is NOT going to dominate our OL. Allen and Williams will NOT be feasting. The NFL is a game of matchups and the Chiefs are a bad matchup for the Chargers. Stop being so emo, the Chiefs are gonna have a get well game vs the Chargers. |
It is hard to guess what will happen in this game. Rivers looks like a worse version of Eli Manning now, but I have zero faith in fat Andy getting his team up to play.
Andy will find a way to lose this one I would bet. Afterward will say "We need to clean up all those fumbles, stupid penalties, fielding punts inside the 5, blocked field goals, bad snaps, shoddy run defense, long pass completions because the Safties blew their assignments, stupid time outs, terrible play calls in crucial drives- then say- that is on me!" |

It's coming though. This is a "Stack the box and let Rios chuck it deep" game if there ever was one. |
90% of posters here are soft.
Bitch all you want if they lose a playoff game in agonizing fashion, or fail to reach the playoffs, but this loss means next to nothing. They lost a game they should have won. That's what it means. Get over it. |

The Raiders didn't "shut out" the Chiefs offense for 3 quarters, dipstick. If you'll go back in your memory and look at the third quarter, Pat hit Mecole for something like a 70-yard bomb TD that was called back for a penalty. So in reality, your defense didn't stop the Chiefs from scoring in the third, it was the refs. Or we shot ourselves in the foot. But your defense didn't play any part in it. |
Apparently PFF loved Wisniewski this week against TEN. Had him as the #2 rated pass blocking guard.
I’ll have to look for myself, but either way, I think he’s probably better than Wylie. Will be interesting to see who plays once LDT returns. |

The Raiders shut the Chiefs down for a couple drives to start the game, then got their asses kicked. LOL @ the idea that they could score 4 TDs in a quarter and complete about 10 straight deep balls, then get completely shut down. |

LOL @ Hardman being open because of a penalty. Your defense got owned in epic fashion on that play just like the entire 2nd quarter. Doesn’t matter if it were wiped off. Btw, they didn’t go one and done last year, genius. |
Chargers get 11 days rest compared to KC's 8...this should never happen in a late divisional match-up...especially considering they were both 12-4 last year.
