Still waiting for the explanation as to why Durant's super team was so much worse than Lebron's.

Reminder:

Durant's iteration of a super team involved him signing a max deal with the best team in free agency.

Lebron's iteration of a super team involved outright collusion over multiple years with other super stars, including blatant tampering and salary cap manipulation.

Markieff was on that team!!!

So Lebron has ZERO titles without a KU player on the roster.

I'm not sure I've seen a more pathetic take outside the DC board.

Durant went there title hunting, and then moved on of his own accord.

Kramerica 06-16-2022 01:15 PM

Why keep posting these idiotic Twitter takes? It's clearly just some salty LeBron nuthugger. He beat the Warriors without KD so they got better to win. Exactly what any team should do. The notion that the Warriors did wrong by KD is ridiculous.

Quite accurate unfortunately (see this thread for the latest example). He's overcome it all though.

I saw about 5 minutes of his new Space Jam movie, it was awful. I can’t explain it, he’s just really unlikable.

What slander?

And vitirol... maybe. But he brought a lot of that on himself. He made himself unlikeable to a large percentage of basketball fans.

Primarily by daring to have a better career than MJ, yes (which, by the way, he did/is).

No. Primarily by being

A) a whiny bitch about his poor quality teammates and not getting foul calls because of "how big and strong I am"

B) a self serving sellout who made everything about him ("the decision", making the cavs let his entourage do whatever they wanted when no other player was allowed to have any people with them, etc)

C) did I mention being a whiny bitch.... to and about the media and their portrayel of him?

D) and at the bottom of the list, being really good at the game of basketball

Adam Silver breaks from having aids to being in Covid protocol. Not in attendance tonight.

KC_Connection 06-16-2022 07:45 PM

Such a pathetic effort from the Celtics here. 21-0 run and showing no fight or intensity at all in a Game 6 of the NBA Finals. They deserve to be blown out and it appears they will be.
