AMD RX 6800 XT runs at almost half the frame rate of Nvidia's RTX 3080 in Vulkan Ray Tracing tests

Still too early for me to jump on the Radeon wagon considering the prices they're asking.

Kind of figured by the time they were readily available, they might have those things figured out. If not I will grab a 30 series, I’m all about running the best instead of brand

Overland Park MicroCenter has a 3080 in stock, just in case anyone is looking.

Good looking out :thumb:
MC seems to get more stock than most other retailers.

Right before I bought mine my hookup there told me they get them 3 or 4 days a week if you want to camp out for a few hours to try to get one. I had no interest in that but they DO receive some every week.

Thanks. For some reason there are no MCs in the Phoenix metro area. :(

Actually that's been there since yesterday. Went there in the afternoon, but they didn't have it. This is the 3rd time its happened. While I was there at the store browsing around no fewer than 3 other people came and asked the staff about it.

Well shit... the wife's R9 390 quit working with multiple monitors. If I have 2/3 monitors plugged in the fans stop and I get no display. If I only have the one connected then it works but lays to waste the other two monitors.

I currently have 2 of 3 up and running via onboard video but, obviously, that isn't a good long term solution. Swapped out the PSU with the one from my HTPC and that wasn't the problem as the video card shutting down persists.

Dude, I'm not ready to drop another $200 on a video card. I may put the 1050 currently in the HTPC into her rig and drop the 390 in the HTPC and see if that will allow us to hobble along for a bit.
