So who is going to return kicks?

Justin Watson on kick duty, Tranquill on tackling duty, and perhaps an uptick in looks for Justyn Ross on wide receiver duty?

Anyone is better than James.

Near certainty it will be Justin Watson on return duties. He may not run a lot, but vs. CHI we don't need any return yards. Just field the thing reliably and don't make any dumb decisions are all that's needed for this game.

Skyy Moore?

I prefer to let the ball go on punts. Mahomes at the 1 yard line is better than fumbling the punt return.

Agreed or reliable Watson fair catching everything as the next best option.

Deneric Prince possibly elevated for kick returns or montrell washington

Eh, okay, sure. Doubt anyone's worried about their punter or their coverage unit making a game-changing play in this one. We could put nearly anyone back there, even allow for a couple fumbles, and it wouldn't change the outcome of the game probably.


I just would put someone back there reliable. But there's no real reason to be super-conservative about it.
