I don't agree with that at all. **** playing for a tie. How many times have we lost games we could have won by doing that?

Not saying I agree, but I think his argument was you have a greater palette of choices to win if you tie the game with how little was left on the clock. Bears are less motivated to re-gain the lead in regulation and you can regroup in OT and formulate a plan to win outright, without leaving it in the Bears' hands.

Not to mention that you have to convert the 2pt to begin with.
