I'm all in on this... come get your ring, Dede

Wilson8 05-10-2021 04:20 PM

With no Chief players named, it seems more like an agent trying to help his client get a deal.

BUT...It might be Orlando Brown.

Dede was at Oklahoma for 2015 and 2016.

Orlando Brown was at Oklahoma, 2015 as a redshirt and then starting LT from 2016 through 2017.

A poor man’s Mecole Hardman.

Doesn't have quite the same jets for sure

But may well be the better football player

Lets get him and create some competition... the receiver room as things currently stand is just too thin for my liking, the season is full of hard knocks and with a little bad luck we could be fielding some real panic time question marks

Agreed.

It appears to me, at least at this point in time, that the Chiefs have a clear #1 WR in Ty Hill (Duh!), then a bunch of guys that are really 3's and 4's, in Hardman, Robinson, then a bunch of 4's, 5's, and 6's in Kemp, Sharp and Calloway.

I didn't include Powell because he's a complete unknown in the NFL. Maybe he becomes a solid #2 or #3 or maybe he becomes nothing.

But a guy like Dede Westbrook would be a nice addition, IMO.

You forgot pringle in your list of clear #1's.

The prior 2 seasons he averaged. 690/4. He'd be a great fit at WR2/3 if healthy.

Can't have enough competition in the WR room.

we need some bigger receivers….can’t have all small fast guys

The **** do you think Killa Trav and the rook TE are for? They’ll be fine.

He can't turn his head to look for the ball and he's slow too?

05/10
Sean Culkin (TE) contract terminated

Bryan Witzmann (OL) contract terminated

Jordan Ta'amu (QB) waived

smithandrew051 05-10-2021 09:40 PM

I’m all for bringing him in. I really like the idea of WR2 by committee.

Keep 6 WRs:
Hill
Westbrook
Robinson
Hardman
Powell
Calloway

Buh bye Pringle

In today's game, it's about spacing.

That's why there's a rage on small fast guys, because their quickness can create separation.

Chiefs have raved about Pringle all year long. He’s our gunner as well and a good special teams player. He won’t be cut

Oh no, there goes the OL depth!!
Seriously, if Veach and Andy think he can compete for a roster spot, why not. It's what Dane said, we have a #1, a draft pick, and a bunch of guys that really are #4-6 receivers.
