Yeah it is Jim but should have been concrete mittens. I saw him in 71 or 72 against Dallas Lenny layed two bombs right into Jim's hands wide open he dropped. Bullet Bob Hayes didn't drop his and he killed us in that game. I dont remember Jim playing much after.

Bob Hayes was a running back at Florida A&M, a football player who just happened o be the worlds fastest human.

Jimmy Hines was an expriment that failed, he was a track guy trying to be a football player......fail!!!

Both ran the 9.1 WR, the 5.9 60 WR and both were Olympic 100m Champs. And both were the first to break 10,00 at 100m, Hayes a 9.91 windy, Hines a 9.95 legal.

Yeah he played in 1 game in for KC in 1970. I cant find any other info what game. Maybe it was preseason because me and my brother were laughing at him. But damn I can swear it was against Dallas and Bob Hayes having a big day.

Just a suggestion you are free to do as you want. Most of that list are popular mega threads except poop threads they just happen.

The more you describe it the more it is creeping back to my memory. I vaguely recall (perhaps a false memory) of not being worried about Bob Hayes because we had a guy just as fast. Back then, in my mind, every Chief was the best at their position in the NFL.

There is a video on YouTube, from VLADTV, where he tells this story himself. It's much better than wiki entry.

In the video he says that he was cut from the Chiefs twice, and signed as a free agent with the Broncos, and was cut the next day.
