He played in the Championship game, bro. Had he not reaggravated his injury in that game, he would have played in the Super Bowl.

We won that game, by the way lol everything is just peachy

Unless the recovery would've taken 3+ months that should have been done ASAP to ensure he was as healthy as possible for the playoff push. Inconsequential since we won but still pretty odd.

Surgery always carries risks. I mean, remember Tyrod Taylor? Even the simplest of procedures carry some risk.

The right call was to see if he could get healthy enough to finish the season, then maybe have surgery in the offseason.

I could see him going to the Ders to help EB implement his offense.

So does it seem pretty likely he was trying to play through some kind of hernia instead of getting season-ending surgery?

Edit: some of the commenters are saying grade 2 or 3 abdominal strain. Sounds rough.

He wanted to play. I don't care what anyone says the kid showed heart. Coming down with that first down catch in so much pain and hanging onto the ball really showed fortitude. It maybe the most clutch catch of the season.

When did that happen?

I might be completely wrong but I swore I read somewhere he had hernia surgery earlier this season, maybe it was speculation , I cant find anything now.

Remember that idiot that said Hardman was faking an injury because he was upset that the Chiefs traded for Toney?

He sure did. We have some real MENSA candidates up in here.

Not a shock.

We all knew he was gone with the Toney trade.
