I'm gonna need a second straight year of Raiders Hard Knocks.

DRM08 02-06-2020 08:21 PM

Davis is scared shitless of Mahomes. Unfortunately for him, Brady doesn't get to bring Belichick with him.

Hog's Gone Fishin 02-06-2020 08:22 PM

So where does this originate from. If it comes anywhere from the Raiders it's tampering. Brady is still under contract.

Last season really was a ****ing hoot.

JD10367 02-06-2020 08:23 PM

As a Patriots fan, I’m in the extreme minority. I don’t drink the Kool Aid with the 95% of the nut hugging bandwagon fans. I think his best days are done, at best he’s a middle of the pack QB, and the $30M they’re supposedly willing to give him can be better used elsewhere.

As a Chiefs fan, I would find it hilarious and I would love it if he went to the Raiders, Broncos, or Chargers. It would guarantee mediocrity and put off their search for a franchise QB for another season.

staylor26 02-06-2020 08:23 PM

I just don’t understand why all of these teams are lining up to sign a 43 year old that’s due for a HUGE drop off next year

Rain Man 02-06-2020 08:24 PM

This decade keeps getting better. Import a washed up immobile quarterback into our division who deserves to be punished.

Because Mahomes. Denver has scrambled through QB's. Chargers let Phyliss walk and the Raiders know Mascara can't keep up.

They're all desperate and it's showing.

staylor26 02-06-2020 08:31 PM

How much better is a 43 year old Brady than Carr?

DRM08 02-06-2020 08:31 PM

Carr has gotta be furious. But not a damn thing he can do about it. LMAO

Red Dawg 02-06-2020 08:31 PM

No chance in hell. He won't.

Gravedigger 02-06-2020 08:32 PM

At this time, I feel like the Raiders aren't about winning as much as they are about PR going into their new stadium to sell season tickets for the new few seasons. Tom Brady isn't going to win the Raiders a Super Bowl. The player and the organization are looking to profit off each other.

People legitimately believe that because he was once an all time great he still is. There are morons like my dad, for example, who think he’s still as good as he was when he was 30 “because 6 rings durr”. There are likely NFL front offices who have this idiotic mindset as well.

Raiders are way better of a system for him than NE. They’ve got all the pieces but receiver for him.

Gruden loves the run first, short/quick pass offense that Brady has thrived in

Lol hyperbole much?

They have a better OL and RB. That’s it. How would Brady have looked the last 2 years on the Raiders with no defense?

Yea I did forget about him. It’s still not going to make a difference when he also has the Raiders defense and he’s 43 ****ing years old.

staylor26 02-06-2020 09:00 PM

2019 Tom Brady:

4,057 yards 24 TD’s 8 INT’s

2019 Derek Carr:

4,054 yards 21 TD’s 8 INT’s

Sassy Squatch 02-06-2020 09:02 PM

One of the only teams that actually make sense IF Brady decides to leave New England, and it has nothing to do with on the field.

staylor26 02-06-2020 09:03 PM

10 of Brady’s 24 TD’s last year came in the first 5 weeks.

Why Not? 02-06-2020 09:03 PM

Smart by the Raiders if true. Won’t be able to compete in the division for a decade so might as well try to get old east coasters living in Vegas to snap up season tickets.

Darren Waller is a good TE. Hunter Renfrow has 600 yards and 4 TD’s as a rookie slot WR. That’s absolutely the type of receiver Tom loves. Extremely similar to Welker and Edelman in that role.

Raiders would easily be able to snatch CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy or Henry Ruggs with the 12th pick to add a weapon.

The offense just seems perfect for him. Defense is still shit though. Can’t argue that.

FringeNC 02-06-2020 09:11 PM

There's a big issue here -- after playing in the that NE offense his whole career, is he really going to want to have to learn the WCO?

jdubya 02-06-2020 09:19 PM

Funny. A declining Brady is still better than Carrs ceiling haha. Arguably the raiders have a better Oline, RB, FB, and TE`s and slot WR than Brady had last year. I think raiders fans must be done with Dalton, oops I mean Carr

This isnt tampering unless actual negotiations are going on

Based on what? Their production was identical last year. Brady is now another year older. If he’s better, it’s by an inch.

Just my opinion. Pats defense was legit but their offense IMO had far fewer weapons than the raiders. Yes the raiders need a number 1 wide receiver but but they have Jacobs, Waller, Renfrow and 1 or 2 serviceable players that Brady would have been successful. Living here in the Bay Area I saw most raider games and Carr is a disaster. The king of checkdowns and plays with fear. He has the physical tools but mentally is the polar opposite of Patrick. The longer the raiders keep Carr, the better for all of us.

dlphg9 02-06-2020 09:30 PM

No way the Raiders draft a QB until Gruden is gone. He always goes and gets some old vet and has never came close to developing a young QB. He knows the only possible way for him to make it to the playoffs is getting a vet, because he will ruin any young guy theyd draft.

It's amazing what winning a SB can do for a persons career. Jon Gruden is literally Jeff Fisher, Gruden has a .510 winning % and Fisher has a .512 winning %. The only difference is Gruden has a SB ring because he took over Dungys team.

JG has been a HC for 13 years and has only won 10+ games 4 times Jon is the perfect guy to run the Raiders because he will do just enough to keep them at 7 or 8 wins, which isn't a problem for Raiders fans since they have been use to 4 or 5 win seasons for so long.

The Raiders are such shitty organization and have the trashiest fan base in all the pro sports. Hopefully they let that ugly mother****er run the show well past this contract.

Virtually everyone agrees with your position.

Out of curiosity, what do you have for QBs on the roster, besides shit for arm?

I bet Tom wouldnt even answer the phone if the Raiders came calling or he'd laugh until they hung up. Tom will only go to someone with a chance to win the SB and that's not the Raiders. Tom's not going to a team in the AFC West, because he knows there is no chance to beat us. Hell he will avoid the AFC all together. He doesn't wanna go play for that creepy looking dipshit or for that trash org.

Even if Tom Goat****er doesn't sign with the Raiders this has got to be a bad sign in Derick Carr it shows the Coaches don't trust him and that is going leave the team not trusting in him and they won't be able to repute the sentiments.

Raiders are done before the season starts. I hope they give TomGoatlicker big money and ruin their cap space.
