Guy's been a class act, and I think he's a bigger loss than many suspect.

Something like 2/3rd of backup qbs are called upon every season to play a game or two.

Look at the 9'ers.

He will always be a Chiefs' playoff legend.

I was initially REALLY excited when I heard CH retired and thought it was Clyde Helaire.

Pretty crazy to look back on his career.

Could he have won full games like Matt Moore? I really don’t think so.

But henne was nails when having to sub in a pinch. Awesome execution on first drives. Gutsy performance on last drives.

They having been grooming Buechele the last three years. They also had to put him on the active roster and off the practice squad so team couldn’t poach him. I’m guessing that like him and the progress he has shown.

Thank you Henne for everything, he’s an all time Chiefs great for performing when he needed to.

Will be interesting to see what direction they go in at QB2.

The guy gave it his all and helped us win TWO playoff games when Patrick was hurt.

Henne didn't play much for this team, but when he did he delivered. That's all you can ask for from a backup QB. Much respect to him that he gets to go out on his terms and on top.

There is a chance we only go to 1 SB instead of 3 without this sick son of a bitch. He has balls of steel. He is a legend. If he doesn't get remembered forever when we think about these 5 years, we have failed as a fan base.

Henne was an excellent backup QB...ideal even. He did exactly what he was supposed to do, supported the starter and performed when he was needed.
