Reaching the AFC title game his first year as starter..... CHECK
Putting together one of the all time great postseasons by a QB in NFL History in his second year as starter........ CHECK
Winning the first Lamar Hunt trophy in franchise history..... CHECK
Winning a Super Bowl and becoming the Super Bowl MVP in his second year as starter........ CHECK

Nobody has that kind of resume these last two seasons, so yeah he's the undisputed Alpha Dog number one QB in the NFL right now.

This.....and to think, this is effectively year three, Pat's already on record saying he's just now learned how to read defenses, and is likely still not close to his ceiling yet....crazy to even think about

Thigpen could have been great.He was a Beast just didn't have much of a chance with what was around him at the time.
