So... All the NFL pundits that perennially pick the Chargers to win the Super Bowl

Have we finally reached the end of this madness? The Chargers are done. Rivers is done. Gonna be a long rebuild in a city that doesn't even know they exist.

I almost feel bad for them in a way.

Prison Bitch 10-20-2019 06:03 PM

I don’t. They royally f**** over their hometown fan base of 60 years to chase some extra shekels. This is serious cosmic payback for what they did to those fans

BWillie 10-20-2019 06:04 PM

They certainly are the unluckiest team in the NFL. Proof you can legitimately get screwed over and over in life

jjchieffan 10-20-2019 06:04 PM

Yep. 2-5. Pathetic that anyone was putting this team in Superbowl conversations.

MahiMike 10-20-2019 06:06 PM

Rivers = Stafford.

Sassy Squatch 10-20-2019 06:10 PM

Only one that deserves the scorn is that ****bag Spanish and the NFL as a whole. Players didn't want that shit either.

Stafford is far better than Rivers. Not even close at this point.

FAX 10-20-2019 06:13 PM

People want to see Rivers win something.

I think it's because he's animated on the field and a genuinely nice guy in person.

Frankly, I would probably pull for him also; were he not in the AFCW, that is. His loss ... but, then again, he's used to it.

DaFace 10-20-2019 06:47 PM

Na. You know they'll be picked to win the West again next year.

I hate that whiny bastard. With his 9 ****ing kids. Get off your wife, Phyllis, before her uterus falls out.

I hate Phyllis.

They're the same guy to me. As much talent as they have and as many games they keep close, they always seem to end up on the wrong side of the victory. Their teams will never win.

Oh, in that respect, sure.

As athletes, QBs, is what I was talking about.

Carry on.

To think had the greatest kicker ever (Vinateri) not started the season as poorly as he had the Colts would’ve beaten the Chargers as well. That would have put them at 1-6.

The Iron Chief 10-20-2019 07:07 PM

Its a long running tradition for the Media to Hype up the Chargers each yr as we all know.
This goes way back to the LT days straight thru Gate's career.
Its been going on for over 10 yrs.
Next August it'll be reborn from the ashes like a phoenix.

Some talking head will kick it off..

I really truly think this could be the Chargers year.
If the team can just stay healthy and rally around the HOF'er Rivers.
etc and so forth...

Like I said its more a tradition than truth that they are any Good.
Like Fruit Cake at Christmas time.

Why would you hate a guy because he's a good family man who loves his wife and has 9 kids? Were you behind them in line at McDonalds or something?

Senseless...

TEX 10-20-2019 07:15 PM

They invent new ways to lose every week. Today they outdid themselves. LMAO

tk13 10-20-2019 07:16 PM

I will say they always start slow. This might be the part of the year where they rip off a bunch of wins and everyone can start talking about them as the team you don't want to face in the playoffs, if they get there... which they won't.

I know right, the guy has a nice large family which he provides for! The horror!

TLO 10-20-2019 07:21 PM

Looking at the future of the AFC West

Chargers - Rivers is done. He'll sail off into retirement with his wife and 9 kids soon enough. Welcome to QB purgatory. At least they have exactly 26 fans in LA to get them through this rough time.

Broncos - No QB I'm sight. Are you willing to bet on Drew Lock being the answer? Their once stout defense is aging. Could be dark days ahead in Denver.

Raiders - Probably the most talented overall of the other teams in the AFC West. Carr is still their QB though. If you watched the game today you can see he has the talent to make some amazing throws. He's also incredibly turnover prone at the most important times.

It's a beautiful time to be a Chiefs fan.

Let us not forget they have played tons of close games last two years. They won virtually every one last year. Law of average catching up with them this year.

9 kids.

Nine.

Not 8.

Not 10.

9.

That seems unfathomable to me. But if he's happy,b good for him.

BryanBusby 10-20-2019 07:25 PM

Anthony Lynn is a mediocre coach and they won't spend the money for a great one. The Chargers are destined for perpetual mediocrity with the rare good season if everything aligns perfectly.

I still don't get the hate though. Glad you at least recognize that it's none of our business how many kids he has, and it's certainly a stupid reason to hate on the guy.

Hate him for being a whiner on the field I guess...

Those 26 fans in LA might boycott their games altogether. Playing 16 road games might be fun though!

Chiefs win and celebrate with a variety pack of Dolt, Donk & Faider tears.

I really don't know what they're going to do. Don't think even a change at ownership will save that franchise.

Can't see the NFL wanting to admit defeat on 2 LA teams so quick, and you can be certain Kronke is going to **** them hard in any exit plan in retaliation for forcing their way in.

That was a master class in futility....work of art.....or shart.

Those kind of epic collapses seem to follow Rivers....the Gods hate him.

wazu 10-20-2019 07:31 PM

They won't win the division, but I expect them to play us tough.

Chargers are probably going to mail in the rest of the season after next 3 weeks when they go 0-for-3. If they were going to play tough, today was the day.

Great post, now they'll end up 11-5

They should move again...……...this time to St Louis. People will actually like them there.

Chargem 10-21-2019 01:24 AM

They are currently behind the Broncos, that's hilarious.

This really affected all the hundred of hundreds of fans that went to games

UChieffyBugger 10-21-2019 04:24 AM

Let's remember guys two years ago they started off 0-4 and we were 5-0 and they almost caught us In the end with us having to win a tense game against them at Arrowhead...so I'm not prepared to write them off just yet. Especially with our issues currently with Pat. IF they do falter this year though I guess they would be In a good position to draft a QB high In the next draft.

But he had is 9 kids with 1 woman.

Had he been a stud player like Travis Henry, who cranked out like 11 kids with 10 women, that would be far more acceptable.

that's not why I hate him.

I was making a joke.

I hate him because he's a crybaby whiner on the field and he's a shit talker, and then he projects all this golly gee whiz shit when they put a mic in his face.

for a bunch of guys who say some pretty outrageous shit all the damned time, y'all kind of got bent out of shape pretty easy at one fairly off-color joke.

I used to not have as much disdain for the Chargers as I did other teams. Since they moved to LA and ****ed over their fanbase and city of San Diego, I hate em as much as the Raiders. Not to mention them always being the sexy pick by the "experts" every summer for what seems like forever now.

Chris Meck 10-21-2019 09:56 AM

You know...

I'm just...

I'm a little flabbergasted. I thought it was a pretty obvious joke. Totally fine if you don't think it's funny, although given a lot of the ****ed up things a lot of you say all the time whatever.
