Beat it, Just Beat It...WOOO!

Someone on Chiefs facebook suggested we should have Patrick beat the big drum before the Sunday Night Kickoff vs. Rodgers Packers. Whaddya Think? Would that add some extra juice to the proceedings?

eDave 10-19-2019 07:07 PM

Saw that somewhere else as well. Do it!!! Arrowhead would crumble.

This was suggested after his MRI by several people. Of course it would.

TribalElder 10-19-2019 07:08 PM

that would be cool

not many chances for him to do that before he retires

Hammock Parties 10-19-2019 07:10 PM

matt verderame originate this idea

yes please

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a> should have Patrick Mahomes beat the drum before SNF next week. Arrowhead might actually come down.</p>&mdash; Matt Verderame (@MattVerderame) <a href="https://twitter.com/MattVerderame/status/1185043471285051392?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 18, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Sounds like a hell of an idea, sure. :thumb:

Why Not? 10-19-2019 07:26 PM

Would almost be worth me not getting to see him live at my one game I’m attending this season. Almost.

Dartgod 10-19-2019 07:31 PM

My wife and I will be there, so I fully endorse this idea.

stevieray 10-19-2019 11:16 PM

Sure, just get him there in a wheelchair.

DaFace 10-19-2019 11:31 PM

I'm for it, but 1) I bet he'd want to be on the field with his teammates and 2) I bet they decide that stuff well in advance.

KChiefs1 10-20-2019 08:27 AM

Awesome idea.

When the players are hurt, they usually just mill around on the sideline in a Chiefs sweatsuit. Eric Fisher has been at every game, but stays out of the way of the guys who are in the game. Last year Berry would hang around and sometime stick his nose into the defensive group on the sideline. Of course, Grandpa Bob was running the meeting, so there wasn't much he could do to help with that train wreck. I'm thinking Patrick is going to try to help Midnight Hour as much as he can. He's always been a team first guy.

Are you crazy! He could sprain an elbow, break his wrist, dislocate his shoulder, maybe even break his neck. Very stupid dangerous thing for an injured player to do.

What an ignorant call, I mean idea.:toast:

Easy 6 10-20-2019 09:56 AM

Oh yeah great idea, he’d get the crowd whipped up into a fine lather

FAX 10-20-2019 11:43 AM

I am adamantly, vehemently, emphatically, categorically, and sweat-latheredly unequivocally opposed to this idea.

No stairs this early in his rehab and he should be with his teammates. Not, I repeat not, whacking a damn oversized tympan with some ugly cheerleaders like a retired octogenarian.

FAX

Sounds like something the league wouldn’t allow

This is where i take a stand as well.

Hog's Gone Fishin 10-20-2019 12:43 PM

Would be cool but probably not a smart idea just for his health. He needs to be in a bubble.

Who said anything about stairs?

Oh no, he will carried up those stairs by a beefy and heavily armed escort of steely eyed Redcoaters

TinyEvel 10-20-2019 03:27 PM

Nope.

Only thing he should be beating is...ah never mind! Let the man heal.

gblowfish 10-20-2019 03:46 PM

How bout we let his mom beat it?

I mean that in the most positive way...

Flying High D 10-20-2019 03:58 PM

Would he whip out his winkie and beat the drum with it? Like Tommy Lee did with his winkie on that sex video with Spamela Pee. Tommy Lee was driving this boat, pulls out this schlong out of his pants hitting the horn in the middle of the steering wheel.
