Equally enjoyable is the "Goonies" reunion he orchestrated.
|
best movie ever
|
Shockingly Michael J Fox is shaking a hell of a lot less now then he was about 15-20 years ago when speaking out against GWB and on behalf of Stem Cell Research.
|
No Eric Stoltz?
|
That was awesome!!!!
My favorite movie |

The shit dick that thinks Fox was exaggerating it in the past is clearly clueless to the disease and can't be bothered to look it up. I believe Fox has a levodopa pump installed which is similar to the insulin pumps people are more familiar with. It will keep him medicated and regulated. I am making an assumption here but I imagine when he is in public or on camera he ups is the dosage for that. |
I've really enjoyed all of these reunions during this pandemic Back to the Future, Goonies, The Office and the Parks and Rec episode they did on Zoom.
|
There are so very few "perfect" films - and BTF is one of them.

All three of them are rated PG. Things were different back then, people weren't so soft yet. |

Well, get some plutonium and go back to 1985.
Oh, invent the flux capacitor too. |

I'm sure your head was buzzing from the rush of endorphins expecting wide applause, acceptance, and OMG's towards your take but we all already know you really shouldn't have posted it at all given you didn't really know what your were talking about from the onset, leaving all of us to wonder why the **** did you even post a reply. |
I had to Google who Eric Stoltz was lol.
He's already done one of those teen love, 80s movies. A cheap rendition/copy of pretty in pink, pretty much. Same sorta formula. Except a girl played the Ducky part. Lol |

Yeah, Some Kind of Wonderful borrowed from Pretty in Pink. It also borrowed from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It also had the same writer and same director!! It also had Lea Thompson of BTTF. And 'the girl' is Mary Stuart Masterson, who is an angel you cretin. ;) John Hughes had a crew of actors, and a storytelling style. Some Kind of Wonderful wasn't the apex of his craft, but he made a ton of beloved movies. Stoltz was more pretty than talented [though he ironically got his big break under makeup as Rocky Dennis in Mask], and his 'brooding teen' was a bad fit for BTTF's McFly, who needed Fox's manic incredulous energy to match the madcap adventurous narrative. |

He's also a good dude, as he was a neighbor of mine for years. |

I know these things, sure. But I didn't remember specifics like name of movie etc.. but/so I'm not going to Google everything I type, like a time consuming research paper. |

I havent seen him in anything lately, but he was solid back in the late 80s and early 90s. |

I remember a couple of girls i used to hang out with in the early 90s salivating over Stoltz in this movie called 'Bodies, Rest and Motion' Smoking hot Phoebe Cates and Bridget Fonda were also in it.

REELZ channel has a great doc on BTTF.
My favorite movie. Amazingly, no one threw Stoltz under the bus. Very gracious |
This thread made me rewatch BTTF the other night.
Thanks. Better than I remembered it. |
