Travis Kelce is not smarter than a celebrity.

And he's a celebrity.

Then he'll chug a beer.

ToxSocks 04-16-2024 02:46 PM

Cool. Will watch only if Taylor Swift will be there.

KC's WR corps wouldn't win a dime on this ****ing show.

Kiimo 04-16-2024 02:48 PM

They should let Aaron Rodgers host this show.

I'd pay to watch him go "ACCCKKKKTUally....."

In a twist, the celebrity you have to go up against is Ben Stein

If the celebrities come out of Hollywood, then the answer will be "yes" every time.

Well, keep in mind, most regular people these days aren't much better. I wonder if people will actually have to legit answer the questions, or it will be multiple choice? The former would produce some seriously cringe-worthy responses.

Travis should excel as a show host, though. He's a natural. Once he hangs up his cleats, he's going to be a big star. Hell, he pretty much is now.

Cool! Nice thing about these kinds of gigs is you can knock it out super quick. They film like 5 episodes a day of jeopardy. Nice little gig he can knock out quickly then focus on football when the time is right

scho63 04-16-2024 04:05 PM

I still can't stop thinking about how great he was in that SNL skit at the American Girl doll store. Funniest shit I saw in a long time.

Womble 04-16-2024 04:09 PM

I heard they're going to have an "is your pet smarter" special for the Kadarius Toney week.

Probably won't watch. Modern game shows are awful.

excessive 04-17-2024 06:31 AM

Can't remember where, but I read that he committed to doing the show before he started dating Taylor and subsequently blowing up into an A-list celebrity. The gist of the story was that the show is now kind of beneath his reach of possibilities and he is doing the show because he is bound contractually.

He’d fit in well in CPDC

Gravedigger 04-17-2024 07:08 AM

Kelce definitely setting up that Michael Strahan kinda life outside of football in the near future.

Direckshun 04-17-2024 07:50 AM

I remember this female comic was doing a standup that went mini-viral, and she was talking about how she worked for SNL when Kelce hosted.

Said that he was a nice guy, terrible reader. The table read was a drag as Kelce's reading was rough, and that she walked by his dressing room later in the week to hear Kelce "and his football friends" practicing lines together, and she led the crowd going "awwwwwww"

raybec 4 04-17-2024 08:28 AM

I'm shocked we're this far in and no one has said that he needs to be focusing on football and working on staying healthy.

Monticore 04-17-2024 08:52 AM

In episode 1 of moonbase 8 he was pretty good .

Guy is in the middle of transitioning from football life to post football life. He has set himself up financially and has a 2nd career to fall back on when life on the field ends.
