NFL Week 1 Sunday Games
1 Attachment(s)
First week of the season! The Chiefs already took care of business so it’s strictly evaluation and entertainment for Sunday.
What games are you most looking forward to? Game picks? Upsets? |
I think Atlanta upsets Seattle, and I can see Washington giving Philly a tough time.
New England whoops Miami, Baltimore wins handily. Game of the week is Tampa/NO. I’d love to see Arizona pull off an upset at SF. I think GB wins over MIN, and the Raiders/Panthers is very hard to pick. |
Belichick and Brady both get beat, big time.

Having two different CBS stations here, I can take my pick between Jax at Indy or Miami at Pats for the early games... an easy choice
Halfass expecting and hoping for consecutive road upsets from the Fins, it would signal the impending doom for the pats we've all been waiting for with baited breath |
Cleveland vs Baltimore should be interesting.
Cincinnati should hang with the Chargers. Atlanta has a real shot vs Seattle. |
Basically looking forward to NFC games across the board. Only interesting AFC game for me is Pats/Dolphins. I think Pats win but I’ll be checking the score.
|
What's the atlernative to reddit streams? I'll add it to the weekly viewmap thread.
|
Looking forward to seeing Brady getting sacked. A lot.

Several of went back and forth about it in that thread the other day. Well I fond this nugget today and thought I'd share. Over the past 30 years, teams that won 14 or more games in a year have averaged just 10 wins the following season. 25% of those teams haven't even managed to have a winning record. |

If the Ravens are legit and we can just expect them to pick up where they left off, they have to prove it because they STILL haven’t when it matters. |
I wonder where & when the Arizona vs San Francisco game is going to be played.

If they were to have a spate of injuries like the Chiefs did last year, including losing Jackson for 3 games, they're a 10-6 team at best. |
Yeah I’m starting to cool on Baltimore by the day.
I think they beat Cleveland but Pittsburgh winning the division will be no surprise for me. |

Pittsburgh with that defense and a healthy Ben is a better team than Baltimore. IMO they are our clear #1 challenger in the AFC. |
go Raiders.
Get a few wins in before the inevitable loss to your Chiefs in week 5 |

I want the Titans to annihilate the Donkeys.
|
Can’t stand Mayfield, but I want Cleveland to ruin Cowherd’s 16-0 season prediction for Baltimore right out of the gate.
|
by the way - who's SD Chargers QB these days?

Cardinals/49ers will be an excellent game

If last year was any indication and the Cardinals got better like it appears they did on paper, they’re going to win this one. |
I'm probably going to watch the Buccs/Saints game just out of morbid curiousity. I wanna see how Brady plays with a different team. Saints win it if I had to guess. Obviously I'll check into the AFCW team games and see what those look like. Not expecting much.

Baltimore is the only team that challenges us in the AFC, and they don't have a Patrick Mahomes. Game over, man! |

Pittsburgh has a better set of weapons now though, I think Ebron and Claypool are great for Ben.
Defense is elite. They’re going to be really good. |

I worry what happens if Connor gets hurt though. |
Only thing for certain is there's going to be a ton of shitty football today.

Some nifty games early but the only marquee matchup is Saints-Bucs.
|
Week 1 is usually pretty exciting. Obviously the fact that we haven't had football for 7 months, but the hope every team has is still alive. Everyone is still in the hunt and that keeps things fresh, if not for just a few weeks.
Like, normally I wouldn't give two shits about watching the Dolphins or Bengals but I'm excited to see the rookie QBs. Bills, Jets, Giants are normally boring but I'd like to see if their young QB's take the next step. Will this finally be the year teams like the Browns, Falcons and Lions stop underachieving? Who knows!? |
The Jacksonville Jaguars will have the largest fan attendance for today’s openers.

Fluffing Rodgers and his amazing attitude great a deal on Countdown.

Probably won’t lose the game for you, but sure as hell ain’t gonna win it either |
Still stupid having a double header on Monday night.
|
I’m most interested to see what Stanski does with Baker Mayfield. There’s just no way Baker looks like shit today right?
The guy finally has good bookend tackles and coaching to go along with more weapons that almost every team in the league. I expect a bounce back year from that little piece of shit |

I'll have Miami/NE on TV and Raiders/Panthers on the laptop if all goes well. |
NFLN will have gameday live also

Baltimore is ready for a precipitous fall. WAY overrated. |

I’m actually interested to see the Raiders/Panthers game. Should at least be entertaining......hopefully.
Better than being outside in nothing but pure ****ing smoke. **** fires. |

Best way to stream these games without having to subscribe to anything? No cable or DTV here, just internet.

Quarantine did not do any favors to Terry Bradshaw.
Dude definitely put on some bad weight. |

I think the Raiders win today, but I also think they’re playing one of the 5 least talented rosters in the entire league.

Gonna roll with RedZone in the noon window. Got too many bets/fantasy games going.

That’s pretty incredible

Maybe obvious but still incredible: After testing yesterday, all 3,600 players and team personnel, and another 1,400 gameday assistants, all have been cleared for today’s games, per source.

A rather remarkable feat for the league and its players.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 13, 2020
 |

Guy on CBS just did their Super Bowl picks. Other than Nate and Boomer picking the Chiefs, everybody was all over the place as far as who was going to make it.
|
We are all Dolphins fans today! **** the pats!!!!11
|
Just saw shot of Belichick pulling down his mask to talk to Cam. Seriously man just throw it in the trash.
|
I really hope Cleveland can find a way to knock off the Ravens.
Tired of the ridiculous hype train around them. |

For those that have DISH Network, NFL just inked a deal to restore NFL Network and NFL Redzone. Should be back up shortly.

That thing Gurley has over his hair on his head is the ugliest damn thing I have seen in a while. WOW
|
Time to watch the only worthwhile NFL analysis show on TV - NFL Matchup - which ESPN buries at 1AM because not enough Skip Bayless.
