Spoken like a spoiled whining baby. I bet this is the first time this kid has ever experienced adversity in his entire life. This kid is a bitch |

The 10th overall pick is great. Ask Mahomes. |
Little bitch that was scared to play kansas state.
|
Confident people scare you runkc?
|
Hey that anger worked for Brady. Rekon he will be the best of the bunch
|
LMAO
He’s extremely unlikable |
didn't Jackson just act the Same way?
|
Born rich and an arrogant asshole who thinks hes better than everyone. His personality is why he fell. AZ got stuck with him.
|
I think you are seeing what you want to see. A lot of players say things like that.
|
If im a Cardinals fan, im absolutely loving that response! Kinda dude i want on my team!
|
He’s gonna flame out so hard
|
I actually love that. Wouldn't you want your QB to be competitive and pissed off for getting passed up?
|
You think he should be happy that he was the 4th qb taken? LMAO
|
Cool man.

Is Rogers arrogant?

He’ll be good. JMO.

Really laughing at the "nine mistakes" line. Awesome! Hope those nine losers know that they suck even if they got drafted before him.

Rosen has the reputation. |

He may very well be a huge douche. I don’t know. I just hate going after these kids personality based on 3rd hand info. We have no idea.
|
The fact that he had the sweetest release, smooth, perfect motion of all the qbs. Accuracy probably only eclipsed by Mayfield.......yet still drops.
Yeah....teams spend probably reeruned amounts of money looking into these guys. If he were worth a top 1 or 2 pick, someone probably would’ve taken him. It’s not a talent issue. It’s the fact that teams think he’s a dick who doesn’t really like football IMO |

After I saw Ryan Shazier for the first time since the accident - then coming back, reading this. He's a spoiled ****.

I’m just trying to rationalize why teams valued him where the did etc. I think - which I know amounts to a hill of shit - teams thought “yeah, this guy has great attributes.....but, I’m not 100% sure he even likes playing football”. To the degree necessary to pay a guy franchise quote money etc. That’s my $.02 etc. |

In my opinion Mahomes=Confident, tough, Rosen=Arrogant, whiny, |
Quote:
Right or wrong, I think that’s how teams view it as well in the general sense. And we have no idea what their background checks revealed. Shit, it. mAy have revealed that all his teammates etc, thought he was a whinny bitch. Well never know etc. but SOMETHING caused teams up top to say “the hell with this guy..we’re taking x” despite having amazing physical skills /traits |

I don't recall hearing that from Mahomes during his time in Texas Tech. |
Quote:
Where there's smoke, there's fire. The reaction is one thing. The bigger mark is lots of QB starved teams passing on the guy. |
Quote:
Maybe not. And I didn’t mean to come off like I was taking a shot at runkc over it. He’s a cool dude and I enjoy discussions with him. I just hate when we judge these dudes character. We’ve never met or interacted with them |
Quote:
He went 10th to a team that traded up for him. You could literally replace Rosen with Mahomes in that sentence and it reads the same and everyone here has a splooge fest with pat |
Quote:
Luckily all the Sooners loved baker :) |
Quote:
All good. Shit, this draft shit is all a crapshoot anyway etc. many, including myself, are making determinations as though we’ve spent 2000hours evaluating film and background......like the people who get paid to do so etc. It’s all opinions etc. CP can get too chaotic at times . Just start a thread on your favorite color, and witness the 200 replies telling you you’re wrong. :D |

If I were a Cards fan, I'd still remain neutral... however, I do prefer the humble type over the cocky ****s.

He'll be sharing a cell with Ryan Leaf soon.

It would be kind of funny if Rosen becomes a HOF QB and Mayfield flops...then with Rosen's quote, we'd have to rename Cleveland the "Double Mistake by the Lake"

Arrogance is not the same thing as confidence. Arrogance usually comes from inner feelings of insecurity, not self-assurance.
A confident, self-assured person would have taken it in stride and gone out to prove it on the field. Not even mentioned it. An arrogant and/or insecure person whines and cries about it and tells people they will be sorry, trying to hurt them with words instead. Because maybe inside, he isn't really sure they did the wrong thing, or that he'll be able to disprove them. He's probably afraid in his heart that they might be right. |
Neat thread
|
whoa, that's Defensive secondary type talk right there.

I thought that was some shitty ass character. Entitlements the big word we use. |

The draft process is way to overcomplicated, plenty of teams talk themselves out of good players for reasons that make no sense. Guys like Mayfield and Allen going ahead of Rosen is a classic example of NFL teams thinking they are the smartest dudes in the room and need to not make obvious decisions because OMG Josh Rosen is an asshole cause some 3rd string TE said so. |
I predict he is going to be an oft injured QB who has a Cade McNown statistical type of career
|
I think he fell for two reasons. 1 is he's sounds like an entitled douche and has over the past year. A rich boy who doesn't need the NFL. 2 is he's a statue. He is not a playmaker at all.
|
I don't wish ill will on anyone, but if he became a constant injury prone player and never saw any play time, I would chuckle at the awkward irony of it all. Even more so if all nine picks in front of him were average to great over their span.

Some of these comments in this thread are just awful lol. He’s mad because he wasn’t the top QB so he’s a spoiled baby? LOL

If he thinks he’s the best QB, fine, and nothing wrong with him stating that. You want your QB to be confident in himself. But the part about the 9 guys in front of him being ‘mistakes’ was uber douchey. QB isn’t the end all and be all of this draft. There were several more talented players in front of him, many of which went to teams who didn’t necessarily need QB’s. The SECOND part of his statement just screamed whiny baby self entitled douche. We’ll see, I guess . . . . |

If he had said these exact comments but the narrative had been that he's a competitor with fire and confidence there would be a bunch of other comments. In reality Arizona gets a steal because from a talent standpoint he probably should have gone 1. |
Also I'd like to add, everyone gets tired of hearing canned answers and cliche bullshit, yet when a guy doesn't give you that all he gets is ripped on, then people wonder why no one ever really answers a question.
He has every right to feel the way he does without people acting like it means he has shitty character. |
I said the the same thing after I saw that interview. What a spoiled as little bitch! Wait till defenses pick up on this :)
|
Only in the world of the NFL can coming from an affluent family and having life options that don't end with the NFL be the worst thing in the world.
"This guy comes from a high end family and doesn't need the money, he has talents and abilities that he can do other things so **** him" Apparently in the NFL it's better to come from the projects and basically need to play until your brain is mush. |

Players say the same thing every year |
My thought is that his primary emotion should be elation that the Cards picked him and not frustration and anger that 9 other teams passed on him.
But I like Watson in Houston and MaHomes in KC far more than Mr chosen Rosen who probably doesn't really care about football like MaHomes & Watson do. |
Rosen is the best quarterback in this draft and it’s extremely predictable that people on this forum dislike him.
I’m extremely glad that the Broncos passed on him. |
Quote:
But it comes across as him being a douche when you consider what he said and the already previously mentioned concerns about his character prior to the draft. I mean, the dude was just made the OVERALL #10 pick in the entire NFL Draft and he’s bitching about it?!? You’d think he’d be elated to be a Top 10 pick! It’s not like he dropped out of the first round. I’m sure Mahomes thought he was the best QB in last years draft, but you didn’t hear him ever bitching about Mitch getting taken by the Bears at #2. |
He’s the angriest Jew bent on revenge since Judah Ben-Hur and if I’m a Cardinals fan I’m excited to watch that fire.
People dislike Rodgers too. Everyone wants their NFL players to be like Gallant but Goofus can sling it. |

John Elway and Eli Manning were so pissed about where they were drafted they forced the respective teams who drafted them to immediately trade them.
It's not like Rosen is the first player to publicly complain about where/how he was drafted. |
