Money well spent.

I think I speak for a great number of CP-ers when I say... <iframe src="https://giphy.com/embed/cO39srN2EUIRaVqaVq" width="480" height="270" frameBorder="0" class="giphy-embed" allowFullScreen></iframe><p><a href="https://giphy.com/gifs/simpsons-nelson-the-cO39srN2EUIRaVqaVq">via GIPHY</a></p> |
The guy was a decent quarterback until he fell in love with the smell of his own farts.
|
Where is Dildo Joe?
He assured me he wouldn’t undo this trade. How do you feel now? |
Kapernick was treated better(someone- probably Russ)
|
Thats unfortunate - I was hoping for at least one more season terrible QB play
|
That dead cap money is gonna be insane.

Statistically I think Russell Wilson is now the second greatest Bronco QB after Peyton Manning.
|
Bring him in for a look?
|
Surprising they were able to get out of this contract after only 2 years.
|
Our new #2 quarterback!

We signed this POS yet?
He's got his money and when he gets cut, a bigger pile of money. He's still good enough to be Mahomes backup if he wants another ring. We needed a backup 3 of Mahomes years due to injury. Maybe he'll want to rub it in the Donks face and chase another ring with us? |

Hard to imagine many worse trades in league history

85 million dollar dead cap hit. Lol.
|
We sure will miss you, Russ.
|
How many guys are they going to have to cut to get under the cap?

That boy is riding out of town with their cash dollars in hand!

I'm confused. I thought we were being told that we were going to have to face him for the next seven years.
|
Well, it's pretty easy to see why they ****-canned THAT GM. There is literally nobody who could survive THAT sort of ineptitude...hold on...
Apparently I've been misinformed. |

Unbelievable, eating a combined $85 million cap hit the next 2 years to get rid of a guy.
2024: $39M cash, $35.4M cap hit 2025: Zero cash, $49.6M cap hit |
Remember how it started…

he's still a legend in Denver for beating the Chiefs in the regular season, ending an epic 16 or 17 game? streak? Probably should get a statue in Denver for that.
|
Now that this is official, it'll be fascinating to see where he goes next. Obviously he's been bad in Denver, but another team can realistically get him for next to nothing since his contract is basically entirely being paid by the Broncos.

Are we still stuck in the same division as Russ, Knowmo?

At least Denver has that amazing private airplane to fly around their new piece of shit QB, right Knowmo?

How did the NFL not CP3/Lakers that trade? You'd have to be pretty stupid to think short/fat Russ was worth THAT much draft capital. I get that lazy football idiots "liked" the trade, but that was primarily due to them being lazy idiots (and not understanding anything about football or Russ' fairly CLEAR trajectory).
I suppose we should simply be glad it happened and that the donx doubled down on their idiocy with the contract. |
Nobody knows how to field a team with a wrecked salary cap. Like Super Bowling Winning Head Coach Seen Prayaton

Yet they kept the GM that made all those dumb ****ing decisions. ROFL

What a bunch of patheticly bad decisions they have made. Laughable

But that's gonna hurt for 2024 & 2025 . . . . . . . ouch! |

For the life of me, I can't figure out how he still has a job. |
Quote:

We should sign him for league minimum, just to be dicks, and make him our 3rd QB.
Only to be played periodically in games against Denver. Let him score a couple TD's on his old team. LMAO |

This has to rank near the top of worst trades in league history.
Apart from the compensation and the fact that Wilson was very clearly on the down side of his career, their franchise is going to lose 4-5 years to it. If you didn't have clowns like the Raiders and Browns and Panthers you would expect to see the Broncos at the top of any list of worst-run franchises. |
They also kept Jerry Jeudy on 5th year option
|
Colin Cowherd predicted the Broncos would win a SB with Wilson 2 years ago and since then, we won back to back SBs. He stated he would never pick against the Chiefs again so there is still hope for him.

They're on the hook to give him $39 mils next year. Wow. I wish I could suck and get paid like that.

Does this jeopardize his HOF chances? I think it does. What HOFer gets f’n cut at that age?
