Handful of gas stations in Chicago offering free gas this morning. Been listening to news helicopters overhead for the last hour or so.

That just shows how little people value their time.

Yea. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Those tanks will go dry before alot of those people even make it up there to the pump.

Personally, when gas gets high like this I will make a small lifestyle adjustment to compensate. Drive less, give up a snack, meal, movie or something I normally would get. That’s the same thing as waiting in some long line to save 3-4 bucks.

Donger 03-17-2022 08:16 AM

Gasoline down to $4.28/gallon. Crude trading up 7% at $101.75

If I had time to kill and needed half, maybe.
otherwise, idling a car for that long wastes a lot of gas.

The cost of gas has kept me from doing uber.

Uber drivers have to be suffering. Other than the major vacation cities like Vegas or Orlando

I heard uber and lyft were making changes to help the drivers. Surcharges, allowing drivers to keep more money.

Still dont see how you make money doing it. Without major wear on your car.

You really don't especially without an hourly wage, vehicle costs are skyrocketing.

I was able to fill up for $3.58 today. Not great, but I think nearly back to where it was before the war broke out
