Chances are almost zero of the Royals making the playoffs, so there is no need of paying a guy a ton of money when we're not going anywhere and Sherman would 100% not take that contract on. |

I have a golf story that will put Bwillies dan quisenberry stories to shame. So I'm on clairmont, a 9 hole course in Portland that isn't even reknowned. No one really plays there. It's more of a finesse course than a driving course and the young kids love their drivers, so they don't come.
For that reason, I expected my 2some of me and the late Robbbie to be just that: a 2some. But no, we got paired up and so were a 4some. Real old guy, one of our new pair. But my guy Robbie recognized him immediately. It was the OG founder of the Blazers. The NBA team. He told tales. I cant imagine he is still alive. |

It's not a big deal. I met all the 90's Chiefs, and a lot of them knew me by name, too. Derrick and all of them. Marcus Allen. Lots of them. Cal Ripken Jr., too, right when he was about to break the streak. Joe Montana. That was cool, nobody recognized him for like...hours. Except me, obviously. He was much smaller than you'd think. Anyway, when you live in the city, you see famous people sometimes. It's not a big deal. |

Now will come the part where no one wants to trade for him, he passes through waivers unclaimed, and he ends up back in the Royals minor league system...

Being reported that Greinke is now trending “out of the Royals price range.”
If this was the “massive investment in return” that Sherman was promising when asking for the Kansas City taxpayers to fund the stadium, I’m not impressed. |

It is time
https://i.pinimg.com/originals/5a/2a...f7ad7b6f6a.jpg Over the last 3 years he has a 107 wRC+ which would be 3rd on the royals behind Salvy 119 and Beni 114. He’s a superior hitter to ROH obv and will be league Min salary. And if ROh and Dozier and MJ can play corner Of, so can The Hoz |
Getting a bunch of return scrubs so we can lose 101 games while trying to build a downtown stadium.
I expect nothing less. |

I’m being dead serious. Those 3 would fill positions of need and cheaply. And are better than the alternatives. If I had to bet on Zack or Qweddo I wouldn’t lean either way. Hosmer is OBVIUOISLY > ROH. Moose I don’t have a feel for but we do need help at 3B. I mean why not?

I mean we are just going to ROh and sign another Rivera or Mikael Franco etc anyway.
And anyone who says it’s a gimmick, was excited for bringing Zack last year |
Fine with Moose. But Hos ain’t close to the guy he used to be (him ignoring fundamentals his whole career has come back to bite him as he’s aged). I also want him nowhere near the logjam that is Pratto/Vinnie/Salvy/Melendez at 1B/DH. Here’s what Hos has been up to lately.

Heyman says Hosmer will go to Cubs or Orioles
|
Say what you want about Hosmer but hes gonna feast with this no shift thing. We do not have a spot for him but Im rooting for him.
|
By feast, you mean he's gonna put up a .700 OPS? Well, I for one look forward to his feasting.
|
If I’m Hos I’m doing everything I can to get to Baltimore.
