You're high on Allen, eh? Seems to be a lot of mixed feelings out there, but he could be a great thunder to Pachecco's lighting IMO. I like Benson too! But, ultimately, I think we find value in RD 4 with Irving, Lloyd, or Gore Jr. Later rounds I like Guerendo or Watson!

Going to be a fun draft!

Couch-Potato 02-29-2024 09:01 PM

How about Corley and Reid just uses him as a hybrid slot WR/RB to replace McKinnon?

I just saw some sites that had Braelon Allen ranked as the 10th best back. So, I was thinking that he’d be a great pick in the 4th. He’s an intriguing athlete with that size, speed and production.

Interesting. I appreciate that. It’s good work. It’ll be interesting to come back and see how close this prediction is. If this is true, give me Isaac Guerendo in the 5th and Ray Davis in the 7th. I don’t see anyway Ray falls that far. He’s not a combine star but the guy just knows how to play the game. I’m vandy fan and watch mostly sec ball. And Ray is a baller. He just understands the game. He’s a great wr too. He knows where to sit in the open spot and has great hands. He’s a good blocker and savvy runner and runs with power also. He’s productive at both vandy and Kentucky.

The likelihood of a R1 RB this year? Probably Zero. I think it'll look like a blend of 2022 and 2019... ish. And those just happen to be the two years in that span with higher than average (20) numbers of backs taken (22 and 23, respectively). I have 25 draftable RBs. Of course, a few might go undrafted.

Here's my take...

Round 2
Jonathan Brooks, Texas
Trey Benson, Florida State
Jaylen Wright, Tennessee

Round 3
Braelon Allen, Wisconsin
Blake Corum, Michigan
Audric Estime, Notre Dame
Will Shipley, Clemson

Round 4
Bucky Irving, Oregon
Marshawn Lloyd, USC
Frank Gore Jr, Southern Miss
Cody Schrader, Missouri

Round 5
Isaac Guerendo, Louisville
Kendall Milton, Georgia
Emani Bailey, TCU
Kimani Vidal, Troy

Round 6
Daijun Edwards, Georgia
Jase McClellin, Alabama
Dylan Laube, New Hampshire
Blake Watson, Memphis
Jawhar Jordan, Louisville

Round 7
Ray Davis, Kentucky
Isaiah Davis, South Dakota State
Miyan Williams, Ohio State
Carson Steele, UCLA
Dillon Johnson, Washington

Wildcards
Michael Wiley, Arizona
Jaden Shirden, Monmouth

Old Bucky is an Andy Reid Special. I don't even understand how Deuce didn't end up on the Chiefs

Love this kid. Fits us like a glove. And we met with him.

Cecil Lammey was one of the few people banging the drum for the Broncos to draft Pacheco and was sick when we got him. Now he’s scared it’s gonna happen again LMAO

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Arguably the best pass catching RB has met with the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a>. That would be bad for the rest of the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NFL?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#NFL</a> if they drafted him. Irving and Pacheco would be tough to handle. Bucky can play slot too. <a href="https://t.co/qGMuJvDfKd">pic.twitter.com/qGMuJvDfKd</a></p>&mdash; Cecil Lammey (@CecilLammey) <a href="https://twitter.com/CecilLammey/status/1763583524924256561?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 1, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Irving is a really nice player. I dunno where he's gonna end up getting drafted round wise though.

Like, could we get him in the 4th?

RunKC 03-02-2024 01:00 PM

Isaac Guerendo just ran a 4.33 at 220 lbs. holy shit

kccrow 03-02-2024 01:09 PM

Guys so far that really hurt themselves for me are Emani Bailey (4.61!) and Cody Schrader in terms of being guys that needed to be fast but weren't.

I think Benson solidified top-3 RB status running a 4.39.

I like what Lloyd, Davis, and Vidal ran. My biggest knock on Davis was how slow I thought he looked on tape.

O.city 03-02-2024 01:12 PM

Wright is a 2nd rounder

kccrow 03-02-2024 01:16 PM

Irving at 4.56 at his size isn't exactly a great thing. Estime with a 4.72. OUCH.

Urc Burry 03-02-2024 01:23 PM

Kinda mad I just watched some Jaylen Wright highlights after seeing that 40.

We surely will draft a rb, but I’m sure he’ll be long gone by then.

Bucky is an impressive watch. But those numbers are very de’anthony Thomasish

O.city 03-02-2024 01:25 PM

I’d take wright in the 2nd

More like CEH and Dexter McCluster

Imma keep banging the Keilan Robinson drum.

He’s a good fit to replace the McKinnon role, he was a return man on kick offs, and a gunner on punts for Texas.
